I've had my 2014 nissan leaf for about a year and it's suddenly started doing exactly the same as described in this thread. So jump start and off you go. Unfortunately this uploader only allows for photos so unable to upload a short video i took so you can hear the ticking sound of something stuck like a relay.
Of Course, The Above Method Will Not Work Because It Requires Power To Do So.
Yesterday i went to get in my 2013 leaf sl (22k miles, 12 bars, 85% soh), it had not been plugged in overnight, i had done qc a couple of days prior so still had soc 70%. Measure the 12v battery voltage if you can. Thu jun 13, 2013 2:39 pm.

Most likely, you accidently did not get the car turned off completely, and left the car in the accessory mode (center console on). I've had my 2014 nissan leaf for about a year and it's suddenly started doing exactly the same as described in this thread. So jump start and off you go.
I Wanted To Add My Information To This Thread To Hopefully Help Out Anyone Who Is Trying To Solve This Issue.
If the 12v battery is dead in your nissan leaf, getting it into neutral is a challenge. Turn off all electrical systems inside the leaf (heater, headlights, radio, etc.) turn power switch off if the 12v battery isn’t discharged. Both of our leafs had the 12 v.
Position Leaf (A) And Vehicle With Charged Battery (B) So That The 12V Batteries Are As Close As Possible Without The Vehicles Touching.
Another situation for nissan leaf is when it is dead and you need to put it into neutral. Then i use the car for a short journey on the tuesday (less than 2 miles) and again the battery is left to drain that day and the following night. Because the nissan leaf is an electric vehicle, it’s system operates on a different level than that of an internal combustion engine vehicle.
